UVICF buyback of 48% of their shares!!!! I've been buying UVICF pretty heavily as of recently. UVICF makes contact lenses. They made $0.11/share in their fiscal Q1'10 quarter (ending in September) and $0.42/share for the TTM. They pay a hefty dividend of $0.09/share/quarter for a yield of 8.8%. They last traded at $4.10 and have been undervalued IMO because of the overhang of 48% of their shares ...

The buyback was started and will continue, Why? Because they needed to clean up their balance sheet to get ready for uplist. Can't have an uplist with all this old debt hanging around. Buyback itself can take quite a while. They haven't been buying too aggressively since they don't have a ton of cash....YET

Correct, he could do a buyback, but that is expensive. Especially when you are talking about taking 2.5+ billion off the table. If HESG is tradding at .1 at that point you are talking 25 million to buy back shares, and that is a lot of cash. One way or the other this company is doing the right thing. They are adding value for their share holders.

Yea, I sold some on the FAKE buyback they had ... But was left holding a small bag ... TD Ameritrade and Scottrade just shut down all trading on HESG except closeouts, looks like the scam has been realized!

It seems from the hefty volumes everyday in the AIM market, the company will be completing the buyback within Dec09. One can expect the possible listing of Eros in India, by the last week of Dec. By Jan or Feb 2010, the company will move the full list in LSE, imho.

possibly.. but they supposedly already completed a buyback.. i mean retirement of 1.5 billion... maybe they're doing more.. that's fine with me.. that was 100 grand in a couple minutes...they could easily be buying and selling shares to keep the pps where they want it.. last week the same thing happened in the last minute.. has to be the company..

There's zero chance of a share buyback right now since they are still diluting. (another 10M shares this month.) There are posters on the YMB who are buddies with Joe.
