I am trying to insert an image into an article. The beggining of the article is a bulleted list. I would like the image to the left of that list but when I insert the image it covers up the bullets of the list items it parallels. Any ideas of a way around this?

I have a slide with a bulleted list of golden spheres. When I copy the list to another slide, I only get the text. How do I get the list to use the same bullets from the other slide? I don't see the bullets in the dropdown bullet list.

Hey guys, Struggling a lot here with formatting my document so I decided to try and do something simple, a bulleted list. Here is what I have: 1. Header 1. Point 1 2. Point 2 3. Here comes my next bulleted list * item 1 * item 2 Now for the life of me, I can't get the bulleted list to show. If I click on bullets my points 1,2 and 3 become bullets...

Hello everyone, I have defined a style that emphasises the selection by indenting a few inches to the right and adding a vertical border to its left. The problem is that when I add a a bulleted list to a portion of text formatted with this style, the indentation doesn't behave the way I'd like it to. It's difficult to explain so I've uploaded this screenshot: http://imageupper...

At the moment I'm testing the TS 2 Suite. When I import FrameMaker Files, than the mapping does not really apply my styles. I won't map the number list, that is not working well, RoboHelp cannot manage this really. I map only bulleted list and the conversion does not work very well, e.g. In one Bullet list it is converted into , wheras another ist converted into . Addtionally, when...

I have a PHP file that grabs the data from a variety of fields and outputs it as a formatted XLS file successfully. However, Excel does not recognize the new lines and runs everything together. I am just trying to get the bulleted list items on their own line and leave everything else alone. I have been trying various carriage return codes to no avail. I have tried (where $Descr contains the ...

HCV thanks wallstarb
IL28b polymorphism: how it will impact mindset and practice?
this is what tony was talking about - interesting that it is deemed important enough to be bulleted as a topic for discussion. it'll be interesting to hear what this doc (who is skeptical about future prospects for interferon if i recall) has to say on this - my guess is we could be in for an era of ...

Not sure if this is the fully professional way to do it, but if you start of doing a numbered list, i.e. click on the numbered list item and type in "Header" next to the 1. that appears, then go down a level and type "Point 1" next to the indented 1. that appears, return, type "Point 2" next to 2., return, type "Here comes my bulleted list" next to 3. return, go down a level, click the bullet ...

I'm guessing the custom bullet was built into the slide master. If that's the case, then you need a placeholder. Go to Slide Layout (where that is depends on which version of PPT you're using. Tell us that, and we'll tell you how to get to Slide Layout) and apply a layout that has, for example, Title and Content. When you type in that, ...

Many thanks for your reply gistek, this workaround will do for the moment, although I'd rather Word had an option to keep the indentation of the vertical border constant regardless of whether the selection contains bulleted lists or not. Thanks again for your help.
