Many have stated in the past the stock muffler is only good for a boat anchor. So I thought I would have a go at building a better boat anchor. Inspired by LemansNZ who did a bafflectomy on his stock muffler with pleasing results. I started my little project to make an el cheapo sports muffler out of stock muffler. My objectives were to make it flow better and create a little more ...

I love Flickr but the Slideshow feature frustrates me. Here are some suggestions for improvement: 1. To even find the Slideshow, viewers need to notice the light-gray Slideshow link that is located out of the way at the top right underneath the Search bar. Why is it in such a light gray shade? Some of my family members and friends never noticed it was there until I showed it to...

D&D Rules

I'm working on a band of powerful Hags, suitable for challenging my 8 player group of 10th level characters (almost entirely core). As its an aquatic dungeon, they'll be based off Sea and Green Hags, and I've been having a little trouble with how to improve them... A first option would be to throw character levels on, but If I put 7 Sorcerer Levels on a Green Hag, while I have a ...

It's the perfect time for Change. New season, new schedule, new energy in the air. And I need a new energy, as far as journalling here goes. In a back and forth conversation in my old journal, Carol pointed out that I might benefit from more structure, as her son did. I responded I am, like, the anti-structure girl. I can't do "structure". Whoa. Dumb ...

So I'd known for a while that my time to upgrade was coming. I'd built my previous system in early 2004, and at the time, it was an absolute beast: two 3.06GHz Xeon processors, two gigabytes of RAM, and a handful of hard disks, with two of the 250GB disks in a mirrored RAID array, to protect my valuable project data. For a variety of reasons, though, lately it had become incredibly difficult to ...

I admit with great indignity that I had been something of a sleeper cell in the world of computer hardware for the past few years. There was a time, quite recently, when I was very much “up” on things. I was the neighborhood go-to-guy for advice on what to buy and where to buy it [...] More...

I remember seeing this idea bumped around some time ago, and it's been bouncing around in my head since then. Has anybody with the know-how and equipment ever contemplated making a "better" exhaust manifold for the twins? I know that this is a major chokepoint wrt exhaust flow, and I, for one, would happily pick up a newer/better version that gave less restriction/better flow. Heck, I might...
