Hi, all. Ok, I am in the process of building my chiller. I need some help wiring a digital thermostat to a 12V power supply and computer fan. Anyone with electrical exp. out there? Also, I have a question about the thermostat. How does it get the temperature reading from inside the chiller? Do I need a separate thermometer to go to the thermostat? I'm just unclear on a ...

I'm running through the WebCenter Tutorial. I've done everything up to this point. I've created the portlet, checked the view.jsp works, and registered it as a WSRP producer in my tutorial application. Step 6 asks me to drag and drop the portlet from the resource palette onto my page. This works, except when I run the page I get portlet unavailable on the...

im thinking of ideas for a new light fixture, think i might go with like 8 - 10 23W cfl's. Going to wire it all up myself (done it in the past.) lol very dangerous seeing how i dont have too much electrical background. But connect black to black and white to white and cap em all off. Quite simple.

Here's another observation. My wife and I just moved into a new apartment on the Buda side of Budapest. The building is relatively new (about 4 years) and so I figured that the wiring would be up to the latest code/spec (whatever that may be here). I just bought myself a power strip/surge protector, which I now have my MBP, external HD and small speakers plugged into(and something else I can't ...
