I have a 1966 VW custom hot rod. It has a 3.8 grand national motor, 400 turbo transmission with 3000 stall, heads and intake ported and polished, 75lb injecters, fast system, roll cage, power disk brakes. Runs and drives good. Asking $6500. Call me at 623-696-5621

There is a lady in northern CA with a 73 Century, rust free 4dr with a 350 2bbl and a 3 on the tree (3spd std) I didn't know they even made them. She wants to redo the car. She has had 3 or 4 people look at the engine but she is not sure that they know anything about buick engines and wants someone that does know them so she can get it rebuilt with confidence. Chris

I am looking for an engine either a Cadillac (331, 365, 390) or a Buick Nailhead (364, 400, 401). I prefer a running engine but would consider a long block engine. PM me if you have or know of one.

This is my first post. I have read many threads but I am having a hard time narrowing down the information as to my own project. The picture in my profile is my Buick. When I bought it someone had installed a buick 400 in it. I recently purchased a 72 Buick 455 motor from the local classifieds. I want to start the build on the motor ASAP. First, does anyone know of a machine shop...

Am restoring a 50 Special as a driver. Would like to know what the exact colors are for things such as oil filter canister, accessory mounting brackets, generator fan, etc. Is there a publication out there that could assist me, unless someone on this forum is able to?

364 Buick Nailhead Engine Location: Yucaipa, Ca Price: $200 I have a 364 Buick engine pulled from my 59 LeSabre. Its being sold as a long block. Motor turns nice and freely and is probably standard bore. I pulled the heads off to check the cylinders, there is wear and could be re-rung or ...

I could never see the numbers where they are supposed to be on the head/block between the exhaust manifolds. A stage 2 would not have standard exhaust manifolds but headers, highly doubt it is a stage 2 as that would be one of about 75 that Buick actually made with the heads & it would have had that info passed down as it increases the value by triple at least. Any chance to drive the car? A '70...

See my post in your other thread about this. The list of changes is a mile long. About the only things the 2 engines share is the motor mounts. The prices on the motors alone are a lot higher than they used to be, and are getting tougher to come by. My 87 isn't an original turbo car. It was an Olds 307 carbed motor with the 200c trans. You could buy a relatively decent turbo Regal for the ...

I have a 1993 buick lesabre, here's my problem, first of all let me add this, new fuel filter was installed, fuel pressure was checked, and was in parameters. So my problem is, the car starts fine, idles fine. On the highway and on city streets, when stepping of the gas, the car boggs down step down further, and more so, let up slightly and its ok. I was treating the fuel with star tron, and used...
