We have a 1996 Buick Century and were told the Back Manifold gasket is bad. It runs but only moves about 30 miles an hour. And how can we pull it home with a Tow Bar. No holes in Bumper to hook it to.

For sale is my maroon 2003 Buick Century. The vehicle is automatic with a V6 motor. It has 84,700 miles. Cloth gray interior, Radio/Cd player, has a car key fob/alarm. Vehicle just passed inspection and emmision and is good until 10/2011. New brake pads were put on the vehicle for inspection. Vehicle looks great inside and out and is in excellent running condition. $5,500.00...

...start total loss of power? no lights on dash, no headlights and no power to doors and windows. Turn key off to start again still no power, on second attempt there was a total loss of all power....all connections are tight, fuses good new battery, good cables. If you remove key and waite a few minutes and retry you regain power but still wont start.

...fuse....? The lower fan settings do not work. Only the Highest heat fan. The lower are not working...can you tell me what is wrong, what to do? Are there more than one fuse for the fan? I woke up, used command start, got in the car and the fan for the heater would not work at all...then later a mechanic changed a yellow fuse. Then the high fan worked...also a bit of a weird smell...of ...

...ok it sat for a few days got in it an? was not driven for 5 days and now it wont start all lights work tried jumping it ck shifter rolled it back and forth there is not even a click ...help please iam lost.

only run about 30 miles and hour.? The man we got it from said he was told a gasket was going out. What gasket could this be. It is a 6 cylinder engine less than 100,000 mile on the engine. But he told us he could not reach the gasket. Could it be the manifold gasket. No water in oil or oil in water.

The passenger side of my 1992 Buick Century won't spray wiper fluid, and when I do I can smell it coming into my air vent. This leads me to believe that the motor and tube are working properly but that the tube has become disconnected and is just spraying under the hood. When I pop the hood and follow the tube it goes through a piece that makes it so I don't have access to the connection point....

When it does the spedeometer and odometer stop working. It was stuck on 15333 total miles. We replaced the speedometer and something else and the problem keeps coming back. Especially when you take off and need to speed up. It revs up real high and I cant manually shift it??? Need input! Thanks!

...it rains, is this normal? Of course I always think it's on fire. Second question: I always feel like my engine smells bad after I drive it, like a burning tupperware smell. Is this normal? (the smell, not the fact that I smell it). Just had it serviced and they said I am good and everything is fine and my car will last through winter. But I just need someone to verify this. Thanks!

Ok so i got a buddy who needs his front driver side strut replaced on his 01 Century, i'm state cert. to work on suspension systems, what would be a reasonable price for labor? Note: I'm not a mechanic, im doing this out of my garage.

up what could that be? the car starts sometimes and sometimes it wont. we put a new alternator, power steering pump, fuel pump, radiator, radiator fan, new ECU, fuel filter, fuse's, spark plugs, checked the ignition control module, replaced a relay, flasher fuse, crank shaft sensor and bracket. It is a '94 Buick Century. It has plenty of fluid, and a good battery. I found out that the spring in the tension pulley isn't working. How do I change that?
