Hi all, Just received this statement from Maclaren and thought I'd pass it on... Following a great deal of debate and comment in the UK over recent days concerning Maclaren buggies, with particular regard to the exposed side hinges which facilitate the opening and folding the buggy, Maclaren Europe Limited wishes to clarify its position. Most importantly we wish to reiterate ...

Hi Ladies, In case any of you have Mclaren buggies and haven't seen the news they are recalling them in America - you might like to be aware of this even though they're not recalling them here. More info on the link below as to the models affected. http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/maclaren-recalls- strollers-after-amputation-reports-reuters_molt-3a ed25f71ab6.html?x=0 H.

So Maclaren, a British company is recalling a million of their buggies in America because some have chopped childrens fingers off! They are supplying Americans with hinge guards to protect their children but of course, here in the UK what do they do???? Well instead of the safety modification, we can simply have a label, telling parents to keep their kids away during folding and unfolding!...

The same buggies are available in the UK but are not being recalled here (YET).

Anyone have one or know much about them? Bass Pro is advertising $5500 tax credit on them right now which makes it real attractive. Puts the 4x4 at around $5k

Hi Can anyone give me names of pushchairs buggies which will fit into small hatchback (polo). Budget dictates that i’ll be buying a 2nd hand buggy so names of any older models would be great. Preferably suitable from birth I know the quinny buzz seems to fold very small but even 2nd hand ones of these are quite expensive ____________________ buggies strollers

We stress that our buggies are completely safe and fully compliant but if parents remain concerned or worried, we urge them to talk to us. I appreciate completely the concerns this issue has raised with the UK public and our objective is and has always been to reassure parents. In a footnote, the firm said customers who want further reassurance 'Can obtain hinge covers, which can be used...

Summertime in Kentucky brings out the bugs. I normally put Simple Green on my windshield to remove the buggies while I am washing the car and they come right off. Then I clean the windshield even more with Windex or Invisiglass. Well, I bought an 08 Jetta and did this same procedure, except I had to tend to something and accidentally let the Simple Green sit on my windshield for a few minutes......

Hi everybody I need some feed back on the possibility of starting a DESERT racing series in Southern California. This would be dedicated to UTVs, Stadium Lights, CLs and Motorcycle engined buggies. At this point everything is up in the air. What I am trying to ascertain is if there is enough interest for such a series. In other words If I build it, will you come? The races would ...
