I have a big old bruise on my right forearm and I cannot remember ever hitting my arm. I can feel a small raised area. It's a little discolored and sore as a boil. How in the world is it possible to get a bruise that sore and not know how you got it?

I think they are called stone bruises, when you seem to bruise the bottom of your foot. How long do they take to heal? I stayed off of mine (from excersise) for 10 days after I did it on a hike and that has been about 6 weeks ago. Every time I walk, the next day it hurts. I am having surgery on Tuesday so I had to stop taking Elmiron last week. Everything had been great but a couple of days after I stopped taking it I noticed a few symptoms I didnt have before.
