I have a customer who has a Broacade 320 talking to a Brocade 200e with the appropiate licenses. When the switches use the 4G 10km LW sfp's everthing works fine, but when he introduces the (2) 8G 10km LW sfp's into the 320, he cannot pass traffic on the 8G ones. I had him lock the port speed on the (2) 8G sfp's to 4G and still nothing. They are trying to talk to 4G sfp's in the 200e. When we ... |

Hi, I have an X3650 with a Dual port Emulex 42C2071 HBA. The OS is windows 2003 SP2. Each port of the HBA is connected to a FC Switch (A & B - Brocade 16B) The problem is that 2nd port / adapter keeps disabling (link down, and red x in the Emulex HBAnywhere util). as mentioned in my preview post, some 8 GB SFP have other spec. as the 4 GB, this can be the reason that the both switch not operate correct. I assuming you have check to exclude any behavior for compatible FOS ( which FOS rel. is loaded ? ) and both switch are correct configured ? what happened when you set the 8G SFP a speed FIX to 4G ? is the BB-credit correct set ? what ... |

the command work as online and offline, but some Feature can only be enable or disable when the switch is set disable, "switchdisable" as i say in my preview post, you have to test please, because i don't have here any Old Switches which support FOS 3.x and cannot test it. |
