Hello All, My relative was born in the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland in 1952. Both her parents were born in the UK. She has a British passport. Is she a British citizen by birth or descent? Specifically, can she pass on her British citizenship to any children born outside the UK?

She was born in Bulawayo, which I guess was in Southern Rhodesia at that time. Childern born in the United States. Are the children U.K citizens?

The days of skinny snow tires are over. There is no evidence that skinny tires work better than standard widths on ice or packed snow. I speak from experience in Canada's West (I am not from "over the pond" but I am British by birth so I am "bilingual" speaking either British or American English with equal ease. Many Canadians are able to speak British or American English but prefer our own ...
