I want to get a bread pan that is long and narrow. I looked at several and they all seem expensive like up to thirty dollars. I was wondering if any of you have any advice on what to get. I want to get one that is at least fifteen inch. Metal bread pan Box with slide on lid Box without lid

I have a recipe for 24 muffins. I have 12 muffin cups and if these were for our family I wouldn't worry about it, but they are for a little get together at the neighbors house. Would it be weird to make muffins with no wrapper? It seems weird to me. Can I make it in a loaf pan? I have the 1lb size? I believe, would I use just one or two? Does it change the baking time?

Is there something that you have to buy to specially make French bread? I am actually trying a recipe that is gluten free and they say to make it in a French bread pan. Do you think I could get around it, somehow??

I'm in the market for an additional standard sized bread pan (most recipes I use yield 2 loaves). I love my doughmakers pebbleware pan, but yesterday when I went to the kitchen store, I ran across a pan by Nordic Ware. Do any of you have experience with this brand? Should I give ceramic style bread pans a try? Any advice would be great! p.s. I didn't buy another Doughmakers loaf pan ...

OH wow, a care tip book, I never saw that at Moms even when I was a kid. Dad did tell me when they bought the cookware in 1950.
