My son, Taylor, started out with Mike Company in October, but was hospitalized for 9 days with bilateral pneumonia. After 15 days in EHP (Evaluation Holding Platoon), he called this morning saying he's heading to Bravo Company! It is amazing that he's getting out of EHP already as sick as he was, but lots of people have been praying for him (including many from this forum) and God has answered ...

Since my son, Taylor, started out in Mike Company and many of you have prayed for him, it thrills me to tell you that he called at 8:30 this morning to tell us that he passed his exit from EHP and is returning to training TODAY!!! This is an amazing thing! It was only a week ago today that he had his first day of PT in 18 days (9 of which were in the hospital plus 2 days of bedrest in EHP). ...

Well, I just DROS'ed my first stripped lower on Saturday and have been looking around at upper assemblies. So far, from what I've read, I'm drawn to the 16" mid length uppers. I like what I've read about the BCM and the Saber Defence uppers. Is there a reason why the carbine's run a little cheapers? Also, any other input regarding upper choices. I don't plan to put rails or any cool ...

That's really sweet, Jami. Feel free to go back to PI on February 12th to meet us. Is your husband still doing well in his training? I hear he has the best SDI in the USMC.

I would like to extend a welcome to all of the Bravo Company families... Not too long ago, I was in your place. My son graduated Oct.16,2009. He is now at ITB and off to Security Forces next. Bootcamp is often called a rollercoaster ride, but this board can be a great help to survive it! Just remember when this is all over, you will have a Marine!

Hey everyone. Just found this thread. Well we should hopefully hear from our marines tomorrow and definitely by Monday. Hope your all doing well. Brett called twice since being at MCT. The first one we got to talk a while. Last time was last Sunday and no service ....so the calls kept getting dropped. He did manage to tell his girlfriend he loved it and was looking forward the graduation and ...
