Well, yesterday I was installing my perches in the rear so I could raise my car and in the process, my driver's side brake line got kinked a little. It is not punctured, but it is creased about half its diameter. Will this affect any performance in braking? ABS? I only ask this since I have a feeling the crease will alter the PSI in the line. Thank you.

I am in need of an 87-93 GT hard line that goes from the front of the car back to the axle. I also need the block that mounts to the body which the banjo bolt goes to and the soft line then goes from there to the axle. I am using it for a 4cyl conversion car with Cobra brake. If you have these parts please PM me. Thanks,

Who has done brakes recently...? There are 3 copper brake line washers at the connection of the front brake line bolt to the caliper of my 69. I do not remember if 1 washer goes against the head of the bolt, then the brake line connection and then 2 washers between the brake line and caliper or the other way around. Does anyone recall? Got the suspension all removed, shined up and ...

Can anyone confirm for me that if I want to replace my B5 S4 brakelines with SS lines that they would be the same as on the B5 A4 or any other model for that matter. Also, are there 6 lines total F and R or just 4? Thanks! Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

The rusted sumbish decided to twist the brake line right off with it when trying to replace my wheel cylinders.. The brake line twisted off right after the fitting, so re-flaring and a new fitting will solve my issue at hand. What size is the stock brake line on an mk1, and what size fittings do I need to pick up? thanks a lot guys.

When I replaced my front brake lines, flare wrenches wouldn't even bust the lines loose. Ended up clamping on some vice grips and wrenching the hell out of the lines before they came off. Trashed the fitting on the old line, but they just went in the trash anyways.
