I have a 96 F250 with a powerstroke. My brakes work fine, but if I come down a hill and I pump them or do a k turn the brake light comes on for a bit then goes off. When I start the truck it seems like the light stays on longer than normal before going off. Is it some kind of pump, vac leak? Not sure where to start. Any info would be great. Thanks guys.

For some reason when i have the parking brake engaged, the parking brake light on the gauge cluster does not light up, as well as the shift indicator light. now i know for a fact that there is a light in the cluster that come on when the parking brake is engaged, but i'm not entirely sure about the shift light, i'm pretty sure i've seen some CSVT's that have the light but i could be wrong and...

The Brake Light icon on the dashboard lit up today and strangely my lights are dimming on vol 18 and above when it shouldn't. Had the DC 230amp alternator installed earlier in the week and I was getting zero dimming. A few days ago on the freeway, I pressed hard on the gas to speed up and all my lights on the dashboard lit up for a second or two but that problem has not showed up again. Played...

so, both of the the tail lights come up when the headlight is on, however, when applied brake, there is no brake light. checked fuse under steering column, no luck, where should I look?

Hello everyone! I'm kind of a newbie at cars so bear with me. I have a 1991 Toyota Previa and for some reason the Brake light on the dashboard is always on (meaning the E-brake is engaged) but no matter what whenever I release or engage the E-brakes the light is always on! What's the problem and how should I fix it?

Anyone have the answer to this, my top brake light works but my bottoms brake lights don't. My four flashers and my turn signals both work as well. I checked the filaments and they were both fine on each side. Thanks for your time.

WTB - Rear 3rd brake light harness I need a rear 3rd brake light/int light harness I need two pieces, the one that extends from the driver seat belt area to the top and the one that connects to it and goes to the actual lights. I need help with a brake light issue on my 65 coupe. On the driver's side, the brake light does not work. The driving light and turn light work fine. This tells me that the wiring from the turn switch to the light should be ok, right? Is it possible that the turn signal switch is bad or am I overlooking something completely obvious? thanks for any help.

Hello Im having a problem with my back break lights working some times but nmit others. The 3rd one does all the time but its a guessing game as to what the problem is. I tried the bulbs, checked basic wiring, and im thinking it could be the stop light switch. Any opionions would help.
