Lots of good advice here. I have a litter of seven four-week-old bassets, and I'd say they sleep 22 hours a day right now. Your pup is older, but he's still a baby and needs lots of 'down time'. Crating will definitely make life easier all around....

holding baby up = causing bowed legs?

My three month old son is very, very strong. He can grip our fingers very tightly, and has kicked and bruised us by accident. bowed legs?

has anyone noticed their FCs have bowed legs? when Cael started walking about 2 months ago, i noticed it & pointed it out to DH...he claims it looks as though it's correcting itself to him, but i don't see it. he has a dr. appt. Thurs. so i'll be sure to ask, but i was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this w/their LO. Patti

Alot of babies are bow legged when they start walking...I think it has to do with their hip. Usually by age 2 they look a bit more normal. And some people - especially men are still bow legged as adults.

Has anyone else's children had bowed legs? my dd's leg is very bowed, they both were but as she has grown older one has straightened out yet the other is pretty bad, she walks on her ankle funny and im worried its coming to a point where it isnt good for her ankle or hips. Im have a doctors appointment booked for next week to have it checked has anyone else been through tthis?

Ok, so I know they are fine all the way to 18 months but I am starting to worry a bit. Anyone else still have a bow-legged baby? Some friends of ours have an 18 month old boy and his legs straightened out already. Granted, he's 4 months older than Alex but I always feel like I am compairing the two of them. It's driving me a little batty.
