I had recently purchased this 6.1 surround sound speaker system from Bose... I hear everyone saying it has incredible sound and a good frequency range. My uncle has a older model hooked up to an Onkyo surround sound amp. It sounds very clean indeed, no bass distortion. So I blew my old Sony DAV-FR10W surround sound system... Hello All, I just purchased a Yamaha 663 and a Bose Acoustimass 10 system. Does anyone have any information on any special settings / tweaks to optimize the two systems to work the best together? While I realize there are better speakers out there and the [b]uy [O]ther [S]ound [E]quipment acronym . I am happy with the Bose and they seem to perform well for me. Any feedback would be ... |

I have the Bose hooked up to my ONKYO Surround. I added my own Bose Center and two Bose Rear's for surround. I also have a very large Velodyn Sub and was pretty happy till I joined this forum and learned that Bose sucks - soooo Since I have three pairs of different Sansui 70's speakers (SP1700 , SP2000, Rare SP 95's) , should I dismantle the Bose and just stick these various monsters in ... |

I've been facing problems to set-up my Yamaha RX V661. I have the follow configuration : - Sony Bravia LCD TV -52" FULL HD -Gradiente DVD, - Yamaha Receiver RX-661 -Speakers BOSE Acoustimass 10 I didn't get video from the HDMI output, I don't know if the reason is the my configurations on the set-up. Probably a dumb question. I have a Bose Acoustimass 10, 5.1 surround sound speaker system and will soon be purchasing a 40" 1080P HDTV. I need a receiver in the $300 range and it seems the Onkyo TX-SR606 is the consensus best near this price point. My question is: will this 7.1 receiver work with my 5.1 speaker system? I'm wondering, as somewhat a newb (I haven't had the space or the money in many years to set up a viable home theater, and technology has changed.. a LOT since then lol.) Anyway, soundwise, I'm getting a Pioneer 1018 and for speakers I'm heavily considering the Bose Acoustimass 6 Series III setup.
