Hello I have upgraded my SCCM primary site to SP2, running Windows 2008 SP2 x86. The SQL Server for SCCM is remote 2005 cluster. The install GUI said things were good (ie green check boxes) but reading the log file its not the case. I have attempted to uninstall WAIK and reinstall it from the SP2 bits, no good. The default boot images don't have any drivers in them. I also get errors...

Hello, I recently have had Altiris working fine and dandy (DS 6.9 SP2) with PXE boot using WinPE 2.1. I then add some laptop drivers to the PXE Boot configuration file, pressed the SAVE button and have since not been able to connect to the DS from WinPE! I would like to create two new (x86 and x64) boot images to import into Configuration Manager SP2 as part of troubleshooting another issue. The following technet article is outdated as it doesn't reference DISM. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb68037 2.aspx Can someone point me to some instructions on how to do this?

hi im trying to unlock my bb curve 8520 using the mfi multioader method but keep getting the error: Cannot connect to boot image! Internal Error: RAM Image invalid. there was also the message stating that it could not connect and to upload to newer version of mfi i did this but still it does not work properly. is this because the phone has the new security ettings and cannot be unlocked...

Hello, Can anyone tell me how to have the boot image fill my screen? I have the default apple logo on white background before loading. It's not filling up the screen. I was wondering if there was something I could edit in order to do so. Thanks in advance.

This option is not available on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. It's only available in Win7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Thanks, Ajay Ajay ... Hi - I accidentally deleted the boot.wim file from the configuration Manager OSD folder for X86. When I tried to copy the boot.wim file from a Windows 7 DVD to that folder, and then try to add the boot image through the console, I got the finalization error as well. Thanks Jen, I was a huge fan of a muisician by the name of Don Maclean in the '70s who had a song called 'Vincent' which was a song about the artist Van Gogh. Come to think of it Don Maclean had an album called 'Homeless Brother' which, if I recall correctly, feature a pair of boots somewhere on the album's cover. The boot is my son's workboot, not quite as well worn as in the painting.
