When you go to the Booksurge website it says it will be moving to CreateSpace. When books are approved for extended reach distribution they are sent to Booksurge to get to Amazon. How will this affect the Lulu extended reach distribution process?

This suddenly appeared in my Lulu account today: 132595 Gundog Training Made Easy -- BookSurge,LLC UK 141 £434.28 What the heck is Booksurge,LLC,UK? Is it perhaps the solution to the Amazon.co.uk problem we all got e-mailed about by Lulu last month?? It's nice to get all those additional sales but a wee explanation would be even nicer.

Together with my own 'product update' inputs, all three versions of books (from BookSurge, CreateSpace and Lulu) are ...

... must be amended from 'in print' to 'no longer in print' for both The Inca's Legacy: Karl May and Winnetou II: Karl May. Both ISBNs belong to BookSurge/CreateSpace respectively - isn't the impetous to change the status on the owner of those ISBNs? How would I know what to do there? (I know I'm talking about the same books - but the subject is different: 'Books In Print listing' ...

Someone, somewhere in this forum asked the question once 'why are the books not being taken off Amazon.com when I've cancelled them?' I'm not about to spend hours looking for the post in question, however, since I've just cancelled 2 books from BookSurge, as they are on Amazon.com with Lulu now, I've received their confirmation email (that the books have been retired in their system) with...

Sometimes one wonders ... I requested 3 titles be removed from my Amazon.com bibliography, BookSurge and CreateSpace as they're available from Lulu anyway, and people stopped buying the BS and CS versions as soon as the Lulu versions became available. So - Amazon writes back to me saying: quote Thank you for contacting us. We have reviewed your request to remove the three titles ...

Given that I can and do order the books and ship them direct from Lulu to my customers means that I do have the option, and I use it where possible. The problem is that Amazon is far too big to recognize how much collateral damage it caused by A) demanding that Lulu use Booksurge to print the books sold through its pages and B) setting up small publishers to take a fall by underpricing the ...
