Hey everyone, I'm shopping for a used bike and found something I like. It's a 2008 Bonneville with 3000+ miles and I'm getting a good deal. My question is the guy selling the bike has a bike shop and bought the bike from someone else. He told me that the owner went down on his bike but doesn't know how. His guess is it might have tipped over. He told me that the only thing ...

A couple months ago there was a post that had a link, or led me to find a link to a video on Youtube of Earl Edgerton's Bonneville run. No amount of searching here or on Youtube has led me to it. Would someone have the link? Thanks

My check engine light came on, I had a diagnostics test ran and it came up 1404 "EGR valve stuck open condition". I replaced my EGR valve, had code cleared and my check engine light came back on 45 seconds after it was cleared. I have unplugged the battery, reinstalled the new EGR valve and a half a dozen other things that people have said to do. I had the code cleared again ...

My car's heads-up display suddenly stopped working. The owner's manual does refer one to the car's fuse blocks, but the manual does not illustrate or label which fuse it is. There are two fuse blocks and I've checked both. I've pulled several fuses that go to various dashboard areas, but no success so far.
I've been looking for the engine everywhere and haven't been able to find it. (don't know if serial number and engine number is the same thing) PLEASE HELP!
Greetings! I have never built an electronics project like this, however, I do understand the basics of what needs to be done. We are building a car that will run on the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2010. What I am looking for is to build a device to show the difference in wheel speed between the front wheels and the drive wheels . The reasons for this is to give the pilot information ...

Back in the late 70s I had a girlfriend named Bonnie that worked in a fish and chip shop outside the base . Bonnie rode motorcycles and true to form owned a "Bonnie" ....that is a 650 Triumph Bonneville . Well she like me got whacked by a idiot in a car , like me she did major damage to her legs .... also like me she was hooked up to one of those "bone stimulator" things that they use on race ...

I've been having issues with by 2002 Bonneville stalling. The bike had it's 12k mile service at the dealer. Now a few months later the bike stalls when I roll on the throttle from a stand still. If I release the clutch real slow and roll on the throttle I can take off without stalling. What is causing this issue? It is getting worse.

I saw this Bonneville on 30th St and 3rd Ave in NYC. Yep, that's one of those nearly impossible to remove stickers on the side cover. For those who haven't seen one, they read something like "This street could not be cleaned because you were illegally parked". I've seen them on car windows before, but never on a motorcycle! Poor Bonnie!

The number on my engine does not match the Triumph numbering scheme. It is a 9 digit number (no letters) beginning withth 5928. I was told it was likely a '66 Bonneville when I bought it (basket case). Everything about the engine/transmission seems to line up with t120 documentation that I find (except that the carbs in one of the baskets are 900 series concentric carbs which I believe did not ...

Hi all. I am new to the forum and I have a question about ignition timing. I have searched some of the old threads on this subject, and I hate to beat a dead horse, but I am still unclear on a couple of things. I have a 64 Bonneville motor with a Boyer ignition, and I have adjusted the Boyer plate to 39 deg. before TDC. The bike will start, but I want to know the best procedure for ...
