Supercharging

I have a '99 MX-5 with a JR supercharger that I put on several years ago. Recently I was showing a friend what kind of sound the engine made when you flip the throttle by hand from inside the engine compartment. BIG MISTAKE!!!! Unknown to me the throttle cable will ride up out of the slot in that plastic cam that it runs around and it cause the cable to catch on the outside edge thereby causing...

Check the throttle cable. Make sure you didn't do anything to the adjustment. It's possible the car isn't starting because of the throttle not open enough. Also check your wiring... if you disconnected anything to fix the throttle, you might have just forgotten to plug something in. Dave,

So I converted my bike to naked and purchased a FZ1N headlight. Ordered the H4 projector like Godzilla and Boneman for a quick and easy install. I'm no stranger to modifying headlights so installation was very straight forward. After a week with the projector, I decided I wasn't satisfied with the light output. The beam was not uniform, some parts were brighter then others and ...

Hi Boneman, welcome home Thank you so much for taking time to write a review. Sounds like it was a great cruise! Did you stay in a motel the night before or just drive in the day of the cruise? Mobile is an easy port for us to get into and out of as well. Wish more cruise lines would come in. Have you booked another cruise? It just makes the debarkation blues so much easier to cope with when ...

Hi Boneman, thanks for commenting. Regarding the Rosary, I'm not sure if the notion of a group of people being 'at their Rosary' is peculiarly Irish. It's a common and shared prayer session - but even with one person praying, this is often referred to them being at their Rosary. A bit of local colour, perhaps. So it's something I would be keen to retain. You are correct about the 'Police' ...

Boneman - I'm switching from Shimano to Campy on a new bike but am not receiving it for a few more days. It's going to have some ITM anatomic drops on it, but I can't really stand an ergo/anatomic bend for comfort reasons. Currently I'm running FSA Energy Traditional bends for reference. They wouldn't give a flat ramp to the Campy hood at all without angling the bars far upwards, so they're ...
