Anyone know where I can get a rear main body panel from? I'm guessing an official LR part but where can I actually order one from? It's quite important since I bashed it offroad today when a fence tried to eat it!! Bastard ice grr.... Cheers!!

All my body panel connection points with each other have popped out they use that cheap christmas tree plastic crap that is pretty much toast after it pops. Other than using small bolt/nut/washer setup is there anything else I can look for? My concern with this is the panels may rip if they get caught on a limb.

All here is a odd question. I have stripped the interior of my Monte and getting ready to de-rust it all and por-15 the inside of the car. I did notice that in the rear window quarters there are some open pockets in between the interior panels and exterior skin. Has anyone thought of filling these areas with expandable foam insulation? This is to help insulate and reduce sound. Also while I am...

I had an SUV clip my driver side front bumper. It cracked the panel in two places so I'm pretty sure I need a new body panel. I took my 2008 Smart to one of the bigger body shops in West Toronto and got a quote for over $1,100 for the panel and paint job. That seemed ridiculously high. The labour and paint charges alone were over $600. Can anyone recommend a source for the panel and a shop ...

If creaking sounds bothers you, then check this out. I was in my garage last week, and I accidentally tripped while my forward motion was stopped by the front quarter panel of the MY06 C2S. I had noticed that the triangular tip of the front quarter panel just below the A pillar beside the mirror was flexing. Wow! I have never had any car that had any flex in a body panel. Then I proceeded to ...

Recently I got too close to a tree stump, and destroyed my taillight (and the guard that was supposed to protect it, which actually caused most of the damage). I am planning on adding some kind of serious body armor like is often seen on Jeeps. I picture a 1/8 steel plate to cover the rear quarter panel bulge with a couple of 1" tubes surounding the taillight. It would be fairly easy on the ...

Disregard previous post on this, I used my cousin's account by accident... I currently have the body of my 1974 GTV being restored. I am in need of rocker panels, front and rear fenders, rear fender quarter panels, and rear fender wheel arches. Well in anticipation of rolling it all back in the garage have started looking at the bodywork. Bought a Front panel on ebay - paid too much - but its a hell of a lot better than my original one was from a rust point of view but sadly not as straight so before painting am going to rig up something to try and take the bend out of it. Annoyingly whilst good condition for age, the seller had clearly...
