I had a chance to drive my partners G37xS for a few days. Coming from a 328i the difference in power was evident, but not as much as I thought. It didn't seem to jump off the line nearly as quick as a 335 when I test drove it. Even with the sport suspension, it didn't feel as sharp and firm as my 328i without sport suspension. Body roll was much more noticeable. The interior was more ...

I was at Otto's BMW in Ottawa Friday afternoon (Oct 30th) buying a trinket. At the parts counter was this big kid, early twenties I'd say, wearing some kind of boxing jacket. He was buying wiper blades for his e46. This kid was extremely loud and overbearing and couldn't shut up for one minute. He was arguing with the parts guy who, from the looks of him, has ...

Just moved to the Ft Worth area from College Station, Tx. Went to make an oil change and a couple other issues looked at at the local Ft Worth BMW dealership (Autobahn motors). I was shocked to hear that they wont give me a loaner car!! They supposedly only provide loaners to people that bought their cars there or if you have established a relationship with them. What kind of BS is that? ...

If anyone is interested I have a site where PDF copies of BMW owners handbooks for the E21, E30, E36, E36 M3 and E46 can be downloaded free. They are the US versions but still a lot better than nothing. This link explains how to access the site http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...&postcount= 607

Has anyone else noticed? Audi is the new "it" car, and that fact is making bmw owners frustrated, i believe it's a form of jealousy, they realise that they are no longer the ones getting all the attention. Why am i saying this? Well, i've noticed that everyone talks about audi lately, the general public is in love with the a4/a5/s5 and young kids keep dreaming about the R8 and add the fact that ...

> Hi All, As you can see from my profile, I plan on purchasing the new BMW S1000rr when they become available next year. The bike from all I've read and seen, seems like an incredible piece of engineering and design. Since I have never owned a BMW before, I am curious to ask all current and past BMW owners about their ownership experience. I have ...

I've been hanging out in a BMW forum for my baby sister's car. Damn those guys are stubborn. Somebody asked about a dash cap. Someone else replied that all dash caps are shit. I said I've seen dash caps that look decent, the key is to find a good quality one that doesn't do stupid stuff like tell you that you can't park your car in the sun or it voids the warranty. Debate ensued. Someone ...

out of all Japanese cars Infinity and Nissan are the least reliable cars. I for one will never buy a Nissan product for a different reason, back in 1998 they totally f't me on a lease return and that's when I said no way in hell will they ever get my $$$ with their attitude. I have been a Nissan free man for 10 years and proud of it. The only thing they deserve especially for what they did to...

The turbos are sealed you can't just pop them open. Make sure your exhaust rattle isn't making you think it's a turbo problem...most of my noise went away when the exhaust was fixed (look up golf tee mod to make it permanently open, as the master tech said after the warranty they just recommend to customers to prop it open).
