Hi everyone, I'm trying to squeeze in a trip to the Blue Mountains on my short trip to Sydney in January and I was wondering if it was even worth the trip if, say, I arrived in Katoomba a little after 2pm (if the current Cityrail schedules hold)? I was looking at the two-hour BM highlights tour offered by Misty Mountains 4WD Tours which I found on the True Blue ...

Can anyone tell me the difference please (apart from the obvious vehicle differences)? The bus costs $34 and the trolley costs $20 but they both cover 29 stops and are both hop-on-hop-off. I was just wondering why there's such a big price difference.

So this is the reply I got from the 4WD tour company... the cost sounds pretty steep, considering it doesn't include admission to Scenic World, but I really have no comparison. The tours referenced are their two- and three-hour BM tours and their sunset tour. See their website here: www.mistymtns4wdtours.com.au/tourlist.asp… Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your feedback...
