When I plug the truck in it trips the breaker...narrowed it down to the heater right above the oil filter. It appears to be a freeze plug style, but in a strange spot. What am I looking at here? Thinking I'm going to just put a new heater from napa in it and see what happens. Any suggestions?

Hi Everyone, I have been visiting this site as a non-member for over a month before I finally decided to purchase the V6 AWD Touring Package model in Canada. I picked up the White Venza this weekend and have a question in regards to the plug for the block heater. I don't plan on using the block heater as I park in doors at home and at work. I'm trying to pull the plug back through the ...

My 2009 came with the factory engine block heater. I really won't be using it, and wanted to remove it. If I remove the heating element, what would go in it's place, a freeze plug or ???? Has anyone done this before, and what parts would I need. Thanks guys

I've got my car all apart (93 XJ country), head out, manifolds out, figure this is a good time to throw in a freeze-plug style block heater. Where is a good place to get one? Sources seem pretty limited. Thanks in advance!

ok i'm missin half the pictures i took durin the rebuild but i found this one. its sits just under the manifold. you should be able to reach it through the wheel well or possible from under, not sure on the under on the 2WD the 4X4 there is more room. i'll try to find the other pictures because i know i have better ones.
