Bleed-air - forum post review

How do I bleed air from the coolant system??

I need help asap please. I hate this car more and more. Well just swapped the radiator and need to bleed the air in the system cause the temp gauge is rising to the end. And is all pressured in the res. Thanks. Also fans do come on and no leaks. Thanks please help asap

My friend ran her t2002 tdi empty and coasted into the fuel station. Added diesel and it won't start. She said that it had happened once before and she ended up taking it to the stealership and they had to "bleed the air" out the injectors. Questions: 1 Is bleeding the system necessary? or is there another option? 2. can you remove the fuel filter, fill it with diesel, and then start it up, ...

The bleeder doesn't seem to work on this bike, but I've used it effectively on others. I just fill it up, let sit for 20 mins, fill again, run till hot, fill once cool and check it whenever I think about it.
