Hi, Thinking of starting martial arts and on face value Castle Black Belt looks promising but I've read a few worrying reports about how expensive it is. Is there anyone who could actually clarify how much I'd need to pay and what you actually get for your money. Thanks

I want a BB in Judo, and at the rate I'm going it will take 2-3 years. There's the prestige of being a BB, but I want it for the perks too. 1) At my club, Black belts don't have to pay dues....sweet. 2) Black belts don't have to do the stupid exercises like dragging across the mat or dumb ass duck walks. 3) Black belts get to get off the mat anytime to take a piss or drink water ...

Hey, guys! Somebody in Romania is organizing a seminar with this guy Mihai Valeriu, that runs an MMA gym in USA. Went for my second degree today and after a 3 and a half hour grading I passed My legs feel like jelly and Ill probably not be able to walk tomorrow but all worth it. Had to do 1200 squats, then 15 mins of star jumps followed by 150 press ups and sit ups without stopping, followed by about 15 mins of power work on the pads. Then had to spar with 3 different people for 3 mins followed...

I have always wondered what does a black belt of any belt mean to you. Many people i have met take there belt seriously, they dont let it touch the ground dont leave it anywhere where they cant grab it fast. Others believe its just a piece of material that holds your gi top together or holds your pants up. I was just curious what everyone else thought

Did anyone else see adds for getting your Black Belt via a video training course where you don't even have to submit a video of your material to get your BB? You just send in your money, 2k I think it was, and they send you all the stuff plus your certification. You just have to "promise" to do the work. I woun't say what prominent magazine i saw this in, no need to get sued. I wonder how many ...
