I have a beautiful purebred golden with a jet black birthmark on her right hip and a small black birthmark above her tail. She is a purebred. I have her newborn pictures along with the rest of her littermates. Has anyone ever heard of a golden with a birthmark. She's now over a year old and I forget that she has the mark, until someone asks what it is on her hip. We selected her from the ...

Just wondering if anyone else in this group has a child with a strawberry birthmark? It would be great to hear your thoughts and concerns about it. My son has one between his ear and eye (high on his cheek bone). I haven't known anyone else with this type of birthmark so it'd be nice to meet some people with similar questions about it.

( There is only one, very rare birthmark which can become cancerous. It is, I repeat, very rare and you would know if you had that particular birthmark. Strawberry birthmarks, port wine stains, cafe au lait's -not to worry. I also have a birthmark - a cafe au lait - on the side of my breast. I intend to get it lasered a year after all of my procedures. You have had surgery on that ...

If someone wants to tell me how to post a photo, I'll be happy to put one on the site. I have one from her birth, at four weeks and of course, her first birthday. :o) Oh, plus a million other pictures of her, too. Ann~ undefined

I have had it all my life and it only slows my pupil dilation so no real problems. I know it's rare but no more than that. I hope someone can help me out.

Here are the issues at hand, I just want to get this off my chest , it is bothering me to the point that sleep is almost none. My youngest son was born with Unilateral Port Wine Stain (birthmark that covers half of his face and part of his skull, this is dues to an overgrowth of a blood vessel system that basically runs almost by it self), this can grow towards the inside or totally disfigure ...

The new daimyo Kaen was looking out from his palace. He had discovered that he was a royal descendant after the last daimyo died, turns out that the tattoo-like birthmark of a dragon wrapping around his right arm was something that only happened to the males of the royal family. The first thing that he was told was that he needed to get married so that he could have an heir. He had hated the ...

So, this has nothing to do with my Marchie, but my brand new baby appears to have a birthmark right on her lower spine which would indicate SBO. They have referred us to a pediatric neurosurgeon...in FEBRUARY! I was hoping to find someone else who has dealt with this first hand. Anyone?

What I thought was a strawberry birthmark on my baby's back may be Spina Bifida Occulta. I was referred to a pediatric neurosurgeon. Anyone know anything about this first hand? Googling it is not good for my sanity. I need first hand stories or personal connections.

Ok, so I am very new to all of this. My brand-new baby (2 weeks old) likely has SBO. Haven't done an MRI yet to be sure, but the ped. is pretty sure based on the very centered birthmark on her lower back. They aren't going to do an MRI until 3 months because anything prior to 3 months is in-patient and they said she's "not that urgent". My question (besides WTF, I have to wait 3 months?!?) is ...
