For Sale: English Lumex 10x30 binoculars. These binoculars were accrued during a trip to London to close my then girlfriend's grandpa's estate. I know he served in North Africa and was severely injured in the battle of Tobruk which ended his military service. Were these binoculars used in the war? Maybe, maybe not. I bought a pair of Nikon binoculars a few years back for around $150 or so and they pretty much stink for deer hunting. When it is cold the eye openings always fog up and then they are done. Any recommendations on a good set of binoculars for around $350 that wont fog up on me? Thanks!

Is it me or does anyone else have trouble seeing through their binoculars while wearing their glasses?? Do they make binoculars to fit over glasses? I can see through mine while wearing my glasses but I only get a small field of vision. Im fine if I take them off and look through the binoculars. I just hate having to take my glasses on and off each time.

While photographing the falls in Yellowstone Park, I looked thru my binoculars at trees in the canyon, and they looked so lonely hanging on to the dry sides of the canyon. So I took some closups.

I have seen people on here talk about the Vortex Binoculars in the past. I am in the market for a pair of binoculars, and am trying to decide between the Vortex and Nikons. I would like to hear the opinion of some that have actually looked at both. I am very interested in clarity, brightness, and size.

They say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but I find it handy to judge binoculars by the case. If they are giving you a cheap, crappy, vinyl case, then the binoculars must not be something worth protecting.
