I live in Southern California and ride the Santa Ana River trail and met a fellow triker on a new Expedition. I asked him how he liked triking and he said he loves it. He said he lives in Connecticut and is visiting his son. He was glad he is out here on the west coast considering how much snow fell there. It was a little cool yesterday about in the high 50's.

Hey what's happening about maintaining the Penmachno Bike Trail. It is a jungle, so overgrown it's not worth travelling over any more to ride it. Does anybody know who is responsible for maintaining it. Seems such a shame to have allowed it to get like this.

I need to keep training during the holidays as I plan to ride a century in February. I've heard great things about this trail but wondering if anyone could give me an address or location where I would need to drive to in order to get on...

Remove all Advertisements Now to work on getting dad another bike. I love my XR600 but she's just a bit of a beast for the trail riding i do around here. Thinking about doing a poor mans KTM 300. Heavy flywheel on a newer-ish 250. I have been doing a lot of research and I love the ease of maintenance of a 2-stroke . I just dont know if the ...

Sounds like my situation - 01 CR250 setup for Hare Scrambles and 93 XR600 that's plated and pretty much stock. I'm a 40+ Senior B rider. I bought my bike for 1600 3 years ago with a good skid plate and a spark arrestor. Since then I put a 3.7 gallon tank on, a 10 oz FWW, a rekluse , JD jetting kit and I revalved the basevalve on the forks (simple - I posted it on here a while back). I ...

400ex XC/trail bike I was looking to covert my 400 into a XC/ woods bike. What aftermarket parts would you suggest for a trail bike. I would like the bike to be as fast as possible w/o going into bore kits and stroker options. and be able to withstand some trail riding/XC thanks
