The FDA is now debating whether or not new and existing drugs should go through further testing to determine cardio risks. Pegloticase-based on 12 mo treatment data- has shown no adverse links to cardiovascular disease. In fact, recent large studies have shown that gout is the 3rd biggest risk factor to heart attacks. He has worked with them before and we fall right in the range of their specialties. So, I ...

Recs: 3 Article re: big pharma's need for pipeline Nothing to aquire? Still no interest in NBIX? Troubling. A weak economy and volatile stock market usually send investors fleeing to safe havens, where the profits are steady and the share prices don't hop around too much. Drug stocks used to fill that role, but not this year. Most Big Pharma stocks are getting ...

Good article, should have played well for ADLS, but who knows what the Flavins are doing to miss this opportunity? http://biz.yahoo.com/ibd/080613/general0... "The top risk involves lost sales of key products. In coming years, U.S. drug makers will lose patent protection on numerous blockbusters, including Pfizer's Lipitor cholesterol fighter, Merck's Singulair asthma ...
