I am looking at relocating, and was wondering if any one has any good advice of great areas in Singapore to live with a big dog (a Great dane)? I have been doing a lot of research, but I'm still confused with the districts. I know Holland Village is quite appealing for people with dogs, but seems quite pricey for a house ($20,000+ per month)! I don't mind being a bit outside of the main areas...

I was watching Turner and Hooch last night and forgot how much I love big dogs. Does anyone have a big dog here? What's it's name, how old, exc. I like all dogs, don't get me wrong, but the big dogs seem to be the most fun/playful I have ever come across.

Personally my preference is for a big dog, because I want something that I can take on hikes through the woods, play fetch with, is strong, and tough. This is not to say that I don't have an appreciation for small dogs too, because some of my friends have pretty cool small dogs, but I gotta have a dog that can jump off the couch without breaking a leg.
