How big was your baby when you stopped being able to nurse in a RS? (laying, not upright) I have GOT to figure out how to nurse in the RS. My DD pretty much insists on nursing laying down, and at home we use the Boppy or MBF pillow, or nurse in bed. Laying down, whichever way you slice it. So when were in public, I either retreat to the truck with a bed pillow, or bring the Boppy, like...

Shizzles made a very profound post in my "Why so many angry people on CD" thread..... Here is the post: By Shizzles "I think that we as a society are simply far too spoiled and sheltered to understand that life doesn't always revolve around ourselves. Someone posts something they disagree with and it's like commence the meltdown. I don't like the extended adolescence culture the ...

Best OS/Pockets/AIO for big babies? I have a mixture coming my way in the mail but it seems the three I have now don't seem the best for large babies (BG OS, BG AIO, and Nubunz OS). I've ordered some Happy Heiny's, Haute Pocket's, and Fuzzibunz-- also looking at the rumparooz. What's worked for you if you have a bigger baby though? ...

My DD was 8 lb 13 oz. And I am pretty sure #2 will fall in the 8.5-9.5 range because both DH and I were over 8.5 lbs. Anyway, what are the chances of induction, c section etc. I had DD vaginally but since they now know I have big babies I think at least 1 of my 3 OB's has hinted at inducing early. Anyone have experience with more than one baby that is on the bigger side and they were bigger ...

My precious Noah came two days early and after pushing for 3hrs had to come by c-section. He weighed 9lbs 12oz and was 20inches long. At his two month checkup, he was 14lbs 11oz and 24inches. I am EBF and know he is a good eater! We are in 3-6month clothes and those are not going to be able to fit him much longer. Size 2 diapers seem to be getting a little small too. Anyone else with a ...

I have a moby and I hate it...well, I loved it when my chunker was a newborn and staying home. But now that we are going out more often and he is much bigger (almost 6 months old and a little over 20lbs) the moby wrap is just too inconvenient. So what is a good sling for a bigger baby that is very "grab and go"? Not a lot of fabric and no hassle? What do you all use?

Just trying to think about what to expect. I've posted before about wanting to wait the six months to feed my big guy solids but don't know if I'm realistic in doing so. Has anyone else ever ebf their larger infants until six months out there?

Okay..... I feel really silly for asking this, but I'm really freaking about it. I plan on talking to my doctor about it when I go, I just need to try to feel better right now lol. So I'm almost 5 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. My other babies were huge. The first was 9 pounds 4 ounces and the second one was 11 pounds 4 ounces. I had them both vaginally with no problems, except getting ...

Hello ladies, Has anyone every heard of fish oil supplements not being good to take (esp with 1st pregnancy) because the DHA can make the babies head too big and cause possible complications if you're looking to have natural child birth? I just read this for the first time and like many of you have been religiously taking my Cod Liver Oil supplements... Would love to know if ...

Interesting. I took fish oil thorugh my second pregnancy and ds has a regular sized head and my labor was 1 1/2 hours. I'd do more research before giving up fish oil.

I have a Maya RS and my LO is just about the same size, age, and weight as yours. I have managed to nurse in the RS when necessary (once in the mall and once on a plane - generally I'm not a big NIPer). She's too big for a regular cradle hold in the sling so I just used the RS kind of like a tube for her to lie in. The top of her head stuck out one side and her legs stuck out the other. ...

My DS is in 18 month too. I tend to buy Carters at Macy's because they ALWAYS have sales and then I buy at Gymboree a lot too. I am lucky because my ODS was big and so I have a bunch of summer clothes for Matteo but he will need more winter clothes until it gets warm again around April.
