Okay..... I feel really silly for asking this, but I'm really freaking about it. I plan on talking to my doctor about it when I go, I just need to try to feel better right now lol. So I'm almost 5 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. My other babies were huge. The first was 9 pounds 4 ounces and the second one was 11 pounds 4 ounces. I had them both vaginally with no problems, except getting ...

I was wondering how many of our early crawlers are bigger babies. I have heard from others including my pediatrician that large babies tend to crawl later as opposed to earlier. My son started crawling around 8 months and he was a very big baby ( top of charts for weight and height). My DD is very big too and while she is strong and can sit up and even stand holding on to something, I think she ...

I am 5'4" and my husband is 6'4" and I feel so far stretched out-its not even funny. I was just curious how tall you and your husbands are, and if you know how big your baby is yet? Little Hadley is measuring a week ahead, and in my tiny stomach that means she is cramped!

DS just started walking...or more like running over the last few days. He was early with every other physical milestone, so when other babies here were walking at 7 and 8 months I was a little concerned. Then I watched him try to walk a few time between 8 and 9 months and it was like he was struggling to pick his feet up. Not only are his feet HUGE (he wears a 5.5) but he's also a big baby, he's...

My lo is 17+ lbs at 3.5 months. I was planning on getting her a jumperoo, but I was looking at the weight limit on it this am and it is 25 lbs. She is just now getting to the point of being able to sit in the exersaucer at her grandma's without slumping over. I know she needs more stimulation during the day than she is getting in her bouncy and swing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what ...

My daughter (in my eyes) is a happy, playful and healthy 4mo old. She was 9lbs at birth and is now 16.2. She's not "fat" but solid. Some people ( and I know I shouldn't care) have made cracks that she going to be an overweight and chubby kid. I know she's on the larger side, she had a good head start coming out at 9lb and 22 inches. Our pedi hasn't mentioned that she was overweight. Just ...

Hey all, I'm new on here and hope you don't mind me joining the Due in Janaury forum. When are all you ladies due and how are you finding your pregnancies so far? I was just wondering if any of you are going through a similar problem as me. At my 28 week midwife appointment, my midwife measured my fundal measurement at 24 weeks, when I was 29+2 at ...

I know we aren't supposed to until 4 months, but LO is probably about 19 pounds now at 14 weeks, and I am thinking about giving him a teaspoon or two in the evenings. My mom keeps telling me that it used to be after 2 weeks rice cereal was given, and if I feel that he is ready, then i should go for it, because it is my mommy instinct. But I'm still worried about going against doc's orders! ...

My husband was the only surviving baby of triplets-he was born a month early and weighed over 7.5 lbs. I was almost a month late and weighed just over 6 lbs. I have heard that some babies slow down in growth the last few weeks. *fingers crossed*

I dont think so. Khloe is on the bigger side (not huge, but bigger). She was last weighed at 21 lbs and 29 inches long. She wears 12-18 (mostly 18) clothes. She still isnt wallking. She will be walking by Thanksgiving though Im sure, she is trying to take steps and standing alone by herslf already. My son didnt walk until he was 13 or 14 months too. But he was premature.

I think that a doula's a very good idea. I had two birth partners, my husband and a family member (who is a midwife) who both stayed with me throughout my established labour. I really valued the extra support of a woman who understood what I was going through, was confident, understood my wishes and concerns and who could ease my husband's worries. It was a completely different dynamic to my ...

I, too, have a baby in the 90th percentile for her height and weight. We were in a restaurant the other day and a man said, "She looks like she doesn't miss a meal." And I thought two things: 1. Of course she doesn't, she's a baby...that would be child abuse. 2. It doesn't look like you have either! :) I love my chubby baby. She's the best.

There aren't ANY babies on this birth board that are big enough. They need to be RF AT LEAST a year and ideally as long as possible! ETA: Check out the Car Seat Questions board, they are VERY helpful!!!

At 32 weeks Baby A (Talon) weighed in at 4 lbs 10oz. Baby B (Rowan) weighed in at 4lbs 5oz. I have yet to get the results from my 33 week ultrasound, though I will get them tomorrow. But they are expected to be at least 5lbs a piece for that ultrasound and even bigger now since I am 34 weeks tomorrow. I just cant imagine going much longer because I am so uncomfortable right now, can ...
