[Ok so I'm blushing for asking such a simple question...] But what is the best way for users who have run into an inbox limit to archive their email? [Server is Exchange 2003] I have a couple of situations: 1) Regular desktop users running Outlook 2003. 2) External people using OWA only. For the regular desktop users, if I let Outlook archive email using it's default way, the archive.pst is...

We currently have several clusters. Some are separated by site diversity, some are separated by processor capabilities. On the ones that are in the same datacenter, what is the best practice for storage? I know it needs to be shared across all nodes in the cluster, but should clusters share storage? Or is it best practices to mask the LUNs on the SAN so that each cluster only sees the disks...

Does Dell have any whitepapers or recommendations for configuring PowerConnect in an iSCSI environment (MTU, flow control, etc.). I have an iSCSI SAN with 5424s at the edge and 6224 at the core.

I have a project that requires me retrieve information from over 12 tables. I find myself using INNER JOINS to link all the tables and I wonder if there is a better way to do this. I mean a better way in the sense that my query is not only optimized but essentially works well. Any Advice? Thanks in advance.

Within our network, we recently implemented several Laptop Workstations that users are allowed to take home. Previously, all workstations were assigned DNS server IP addresses (internal addresses) via the DHCP server. This seems to cause problems with laptop users as they are unable to browse the internet when they take their ...

I currently have Vista installed via Boot Camp, and use Parallels, too. The partition I originally created is not large enough, so I purchased a new 750G HD to house Vista on a 200G partition. For this size, I understand I will need to use NTFS, to which OSX can not write. However, I would like to have the ability to d/l files in OSX and have them available in Vista. There are also ...

Sold this today and thought of you disko: Gabriel Knight II: The Beast Within, 6 CD set (pc game, 1995) Got it in a bunch of horror-themed games at my local thrift, paid about $5 or so for about 20 games. Many were just the disc in a sleeve, or had no retail box, or no instruction manual, or whatever, but all were in VG+ condition. But I just sold this baby for $20, and some others already (...

Any secrets on teaching/bludgeoning users to delete old email? Re: Outlook and desktop users. Any hints on a better way than my kludge? I do want to give users access to archived messages without risking loss of the PST file. PS: I'm ...

but noticed that ASP.NET seems to still be injecting some inline css that I'd rather it didn't Its adding them to the resulting HTML, not in your source. So the "design principles" aren't broken. Your code is still easy to maintain and clean. There are some exceptions, mainly in the more dynamic controls like the validators, and some more here and there that can be easily replaced by ...

The Reason why I worry is cause even for the fact that it runs about once a month, considering the huge amount of data to be processed, I need to make sure it runs within the best time possible. Any idea of some best practices I can apply here? I mean I am already using Common Table Expressions but I may need more.
