I think the benching may have had a lot to do with Randy Moss. The Patriots were not going to come back from 21 points down dinking and dunking to Wes Welker, they needed Moss on the same page. Randy Moss quit on several routes towards the end. Maybe a factor could be Darren Sharper making it clear to him that he was going to get hit if he came anywhere close to him, it seemed like it to me....

As some of you my know, I've been getting together hardware to for some 4 way quadfire benching. Seeing as I have most of the items I'll need, may as well start a thread To get started and for a bit of fun, I took part in the Single GPU competition that k|ngp|n was hosting over the last couple of weeks. Which saw the card I was using hit 1380/1350 (oh how I wish/hope all ...

I know everything about full range of motion, but I've heard somewhere that when I am benching if I don't extend my arms and lock my elbows I am able to concentrate more of the bench for working my chest and not my triceps. Anyone do this? My problem with benching is that my triceps tends to give out faster than my chest.

rotator cuff hurts from benching Should I just ice it? I did 1 of those blast your bench routines benching 5 times a week and apparently just got a rotator cuff injury. I just benched 3 sets of 185 lbs x3 and my shoulder was hurting a bit so I didn't do anymore. When should I do rotator cuff exercises days off days at home when I'm not benching?

My team is stacked on the WR side of things and I'm seriously considering benching him to play Ryan Grant. Sure, Grant averages less but he's playing against Detroit whereas AJ is going up against a good pass D with the Colts. It's a little too close for me to call since even with good D's AJ and Schaub have been known to go off. Thoughts?

Quote: FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that Jets players tell him the team is benching FS Kerry Rhodes in favor of Eric Smith. While Rhodes was the starting free safety for the NFL's No. 4 pass defense in the first ten games, he hasn't made a big play all year (no picks, zero forced fumbles, only five pass breakups). He signed a $33.5M extension two offseasons ago, but Rex ...

^topic^ First year in FFL and I have heard talks about some of these teams benching WRs and RBs, especially in last three games of the season. Is this true? If the team has locked home-field advantage, what reason do they have to risk injuring their main players? I have AP, Wayne, Favre, Manning, Brees, and Pierre in mind.

Hi All, Got a serious problem Last Thursday I was doing my usual dumbbell bench press when my left shoulder collapsed, causing the dummbell to land on my chest. Which hurt, but nothing compared to the pain in my shoulder. It felt as if my deltoid had been pulled forward towards my chest, it was excruciating. Then it felt as if it "popped back", and although it was sore the pain had gone. By ...

Feel free to bash me for the self pity party I'm about to lay down here. I was leading in +/- after Saturday last week, and seriously thought about benching Sedin and Burrows on Sunday against the Sharks, but since Da Rubber had Vrbata going, and I was only leading by 1 on the +/- category, I decided to keep them in and cost myself 2 points for that category. My revolving door at ...

For WR, Welker is starting for sure - hence, not in the poll. Roddy has been quiet lately, but I like the matchup vs Tampa. Ward has been hit or miss lately, but its hard to forget last weeks game. Leaning towards benching Marshall, on a short week with an unclear QB situation. Gore vs Jacksonville is a go for me. I am worried about PT getting lost in the shuffle against NE, although ...

I hurt my chest a while back. Tear in my right peck while benching ... Close to the arm pit. Doc did not recommend surgery but After a year and a half I still feel it when I go heavy and I lift nervous. I do more dumbells now so I can drop if I need to. Any recommendations for alternative lifts or workouts. Considering my injury. Thanks Guys
