Is the dips a better exercise for chest building as compared to bench press? Weighted dips in this case, if bodyweight dips are too light for you. I have read from some other gym forums that some people advocate that dips are can help build up the chest stronger as compared to bench pressing.

im a beginner, i have worked out for about 2 months now. i started to do the bench press a month ago. it is supposed to work out the chest, right? but when i do the bench press, im indeed getting exhausted quickly (im doin 3 sets, 10 reps each) but i think it rather works out my arms than my chest. so am i doing something wrong here?

im thinking of starting a 5 x 5 program to increase chest strength and break through my bench press plateaus. how many exercises should be in my program? how long should i rest between workouts (how many days) and how long should i rest between each set? basically help me set this up lol thankks!

mmm, seems like my gym aint got a decline bench. i feel like that is the weakest part of my chest, how should i train my lower chest? any suggestions? mayb some cable's? also, does doing flat bench give the lower portion of ur chest a good workout in its self? cheers dudes.

I f'ed up my shoulder bad today on them. I just don't get it. Here's the rundown. I benchpressed (incline and regular too) without pulling my shoulder blades back for about 6 months. Then I screwed my rotator cuff because of it. I didn't work chest for about 2 months, and I did alot of shoulder exercises just incase that was the problem. I started back gradually and was benching fine. ...

ok so when i bench i can lift around 200+ but after my first couple reps my wrists start to kill and instead of feeling a burn in my chest and arms im in excruciating pain in my wrists...is there anything i can do? is this normal?
