I have an odd question for you..... I'm 24 wks, have gained about 20lbs, up to about 41 inches around. Lately, my belly button has gotten reddish around the outside and kind of sore. I have put first aid creme on it and cortisone. Seems to help, But it's red and sore and feels hard aroung the outside. Do you folks cover it? I dabbled with it at times but basically don't. I soap and water the stoma morn/eve in the shower with a clean wash cloth and follow good clean technique with new or reused caths (only 1 or 2x, cleaned/dried correctly). However, I just had a multiple bug bad UTI and wonder if keeping it covered would help reduce exposure to bugs. Two other things, my morn/eve caths ...

okay so i know its natural for our belly buttons to start poking out, but today i'm wearing a white shirt and you can really see my belly button poking out. anyone have any ideas on how to maybe hide it a little bit? I just dont want people at work commenting on it all day.. they already look at my tummy instead of my face when i walk down the halls! maybe stick a bandaid on it.. or?? ...

Ok, i noticed my belly button hole was thinning in the middle so i took the ring out. Its very thing but not broken. is there a chance that if i leave a ring out of it that it will grow back up somewhat normal?
