Hey I just got a new kitten recently, she is a purebred ragdoll, whom I named Drusilla. The problem I have with her is that she likes to follow me everywhere in the house and attack my feet as she does this. Besides it being annoying, I am afraid of accidently stepping on her, since she is always running through my feet as I walk. She is also really tiny, so it is easy to overlook her as she is ...

Thanks so much to everyone who wrote with suggestions about our new cat waking us up at 4 A.M. The last 2-3 nights we've put away all of the cat toys before we go to bed which has helped a lot. Then when she bothers us early in the morning I've been squirting her with the water bottle and not paying any attention to her otherwise. I had to convince my husband to stay in bed and not stomp around ...

OT: cat behavior problem - any ideas? Well, hello, it's me again. I heard from many of you this past summer and fall when my cat, Brutus, was ill with cancer and was ultimately euthanized. My husband and I took the big plunge about a month ago and got a foster cat (a mature adult, not a kitten) from an animal rescue organization. We ...

First, I want to say I finally updated to Painter 11 on my new Windows 7 64bit system (Painter 9.5 wouldn't work on it). I was hesitant to do so because of all the problems I'd heard. I must say, however, that so far it's running very well for me. I see no excessive CPU usage as others have mentioned. Also, it seems very stable. It's only crashed once in three days of use. One thing that ...

I watch a 2.5 year old that cries - I mean yelling/mad as can be screaming crying-  for hours because she does not get her way. I tell her the crying is loud and hurts our ears, I then move her to the hallway, where she can still see us all, and tell her she can come play when she is done crying. Then, I ignore, ignore, ignore. She goes for hours though. Won't eat, etc. I had to put ...

Heart theft is a growing problem in the dog community. An otherwise sensible, careful person could become a victim of heart theft simply by walking down the street, visiting an animal shelter, or even visiting certain websites, such as CraigsList or PetFinder. Heart theft occurs when a dog, by seemingly metaphysical means, interacts with a person and permanently changes that person's life...

Even in the short time you've had Drusilla she has bonded to you and not to the other cats. When you or roomate pet Serpio it seems she's very jealous of him and doesn't like to see him getting any attention. That's why she runs over and wants it all, but is doing it in a dominating manner by "getting up on his face and stares him down". You say Scipio "does not like" it. But what does ...
