I have an HP TouchSmart IQ526 All in One Computer.. I don't use that capability much, but went to use it the other night, and it will beep when I touch it, but does not respond with selection. I was using my Macbook last night with no problem. I shut it to put it into standby mode, then attempted to open it a couple of hours later. The screen stays black and the system beeps loudly nine times - three short, three long, three short. This is what I get no matter what I do - hard shut down/restart, remove battery, etc. Any ideas as to what's happening? Thanks in advance.

I have only just got my new inspiron, and when I turn it on, the led in the power button comes on, it beeps once(which is a BIOS ROM checksum failure according to the manual) and then it just does nothing. Is there anything I can do to fix this or do I just have to get Dell to repair it? It also has a bright orange LED on inside it, if that means anything.

Hi all In the last couple of days, when turning on the ignition and waiting for OK light, i get these 3 beeps THey are coming from the boot area. I've had the car(2002 225) 18 months now and to date it hasn't missed a beat. With 2009.1 beeps went to the internal speakers and everything else went to the external speakers, but when I upgraded to 2010.0 beeps go to the external speaker as well. Is there any way to revert to the old behaviour?

i bought a used '07 525i a few weeks ago and have heard 4 beeps after driving for about 10 min. i have the engine oil, microfilter, and system check indicators red in the car data, but no warning lights on the dash. are the beeps related to the indicator lights or has anyone had the beeps in your car(s)? thanks for the help.

Hey guys, I searched the threads and couldn't find what I was looking for so decided it was time to ask here. Often while I'm driving, my brake light comes on and beeps 3-4 times. I've got an elderly machine here, circa 1996, motherboard bears the letters DTK and PAM-00541 E-1. Seadoo didn't do it, the fuel line manufacturers did - well the fuel companies did with their ingredients that break that fuel line down :) Beeps aren't a big deal if it starts.
