Hi, have just installed the new software update, could someone please tell me what the difference is with the charging indicator as i have got my satmap at the moment on charge and it is no different than previously ie just the lighting symbol . what is their to actually tell me that the battery is full charge . Thanks

I have two batteries: an old, 6-cell (lasts about 30 min.) and a new 12-cell (lasts about seven hours). After swapping from the old one to the new one WHILE IN A HIBERNATE STATE, the battery reports over 100% in gkrellm (I'm charging the 12-cell right now and it shows as 502%, going up about one percent every 30 seconds...teh battery is about 1/3 of the way to fully charged and at that ...

Trying to figure out why my trailer battery isn't charging when plugged into truck... I have a relay under the dash #305 and a fuse (I believe it was 105) all the post I have read refer to another relay under the hood. I have searched and even called the stealer who said the only one is under the dash. Thanks for taking the time to read and help !! oh and yes did test with truck on !

Hi all, I have just bought my computer and I have noticed that its battery charge lasts a maximum of 2 hours. I would like to know if this is a normal time... Are all of the np-120 li ion batteries the same on the charge capacity or are there any other np-120's that you can buy with a longer storage capacity? Any recommendations on a specific np-120 battery? Thanks :-)

I read the website and the Deltran Battery Tender PLUS can do the initial charge but it doesn't say anything about the Deltran Battery Tender Junior. So can i use the Junior to do the initial charge?

I telephoned satmap and went through a procedure of trying to get the unit to recognise my card , no luck . The card is being sent back for testing. I believe the reason for the slow sat pick up is that it is like having a new unit and the initial start will take a lot longer , then it should be a back as it would have been previously (i hope so as this unit was a massive improvement to etrex ...

It might be a good idea to start logging batteries and usage. I am curious, as a number of these battery descriptions state they are "replacement" batteries for cameras, does that not matter?
