there's really no reason to see this. Sure, this movie was made before Batman Begins and TDK but that really doesn't matter. It probably would've been emotional had I not seen nolans batman movies but since I already saw them it's like seeing the same movie twice only throughout the second movie all i'm thinking is wtf *beep* is this? why is it not touching my heart?

I'm very thankful for Smallville season 9 filling in the void on me getting my live action DC superhero fix. A alternate future of Zod and his army taking over Earth, Green Arrow getting a new costume, continuing to work with Speedy, and facing his arch villian, and a 2 hour TV event with the Justice Society reforming together as well as Martain Manhunter coming back and Zatanna returning later ...

I know the Dark Knight was released a few years after this movie, but I noticed a couple of scenes that seemed familiar: In TDK, When Salvator Maroni is in the noisy club with some girl, she turns to him and asks if they can go somewhere quiet, and he replies "What makes you think I wanna hear anything you have to say?" or something along those lines, before Batman shows up and grabs him. ...

Does anyone else think she was better looking then Rachel Dawes, Vicki Vale, Poison Ivy, Batgirl, whatsherface from Batman and Robin, and...dare I say it...Catwoman? I think Catwoman acted sexier, but to me Nicole Kidman is the best looking. I also think she and Kilmer were great together.

This is pathetic. maybe you should have seen The Crow first. I loved both movies but lets face it, at least in my eyes, after Heath leaves the film, I quit watching. How can you even compare the two? because both had young actors who died before release? because both movies were dark and depressing? The crow is a beautiful movie. that music at the end gets me every time. I guess I'm lucky ...

Not a big fan of Superheroes in general but i have always liked Batman (for the darkness )..and Hulk (for the confusion and rage) Even though those Hulk ones didnt make really good movies. Iron Man on the other hand was a great movie....Reading that Mickey Rourke will be on the second one i reckon it will be as good as the first.

The Dark Knight for me. As good as Batman Begins was I think the Dark Knight completely rebooted the Batman franchise and showed us that Comic book/ Superhero movies can have a certain level of realism and relevance, particularly in the post 9/11 climate. Not too mention the fact that it gave us Heath Ledger's Joker.
