My Airport Extreme is about a year old, maybe 14 months old. My DSL modem functions as a bridge to my Airport Extreme. My iMac is plugged via ethernet into the Airport Extreme. In the garage, my MacBook is plugged via ethernet into an Airport Express, which wirelessly extends my network. I have Boot Camp on the MacBook, and the MacBook works well whether I boot Mac OS or Vista. I ...

It doesn't power on the 1st time on opening the box, bring back to distributor and power on flawlessly there. Bring back home again, carefully check all power connections including back of airport, transformer and the wall power outlet. Other equipments, computer, printer, switch, etc. sharing the same wall power outlet had no power problem. Sometimes power on with light, ...

I have two PSTN numbers and would like to connect a fax machine to gigaset s685 base station to use one of the numbers for fax purpose. I know two (up to 6) different s68h handsets can be connected to the same base station. I wonder if there is fax machine that can be wirelessly connected to the base station. What would be typical solution to put a fax machine to the base ...

I have an AirPort network which consists of a Time Capsule and 2 AirPort Expresses connected in 'extended' mode. I want to test each of the AirPort Express units to ensure that they are doing what they should be (i.e. extending my network). However, I can't figure out how to determine which base station I'm actually connected to at any given moment. When I look at the AirPort status...

I have a TC and an Airport Express acting as an extender. How do I know if I'm connecting to the TC or the Express? In Airport Utility, it tells me that the AE has only 1 client (I assume the TC), whereas the TC has about 6-7 clients, including the AE. Thanks...

odysseus31173 writes "A little over a year ago, I began developing for the iPhone and needed a working mac (not a Hackintosh), so I decided to purchase a MacBook logic board to save on cost. I modded a Linksys case to accept the logic board (along with all of the other hardware) and made it function again. The Mac currently runs Leopard and has a working iSight and mic along with fully functional...

OOOOOOOOO!! I thought we might have something there. once installed, I tried opening the application and got the error : You can't use this version of the application AirPort Admin Utility for the Graphite and Snow with this version of OS X. Even though, as you saw, it says for 10.5 or LATER! (I have 10.6) I think I will give up for the night, shut down, and try the app again ...
