But the real winner will be the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation (CMCF) for amyloidosis research, as all proceeds from the auction of this Corvette will be donated to the Foundation. Its listed as a resto mod, instead of picking the car apart for what its not or what is not correct for the car , appreciate talking about the finer craftsmanship and up...

Had an intersting one last night, a '32 Vicky hot rod with a glass body went for abiut $42k, but a similar steel '32 Vicky with a long history of car covers and many revisions over the years went for $75K. I figured the steel car would bring more, but I was surprised at the spread.

I've been watching the 2009 Barrett Jackson car auction and I would say I'd be delighted to own a 1970 Mustang with a 351 (Windsor or Cleveland), but I'd have to win the lottery. I can only dream. FWIW Dick 84 Capri RS 5.0

Mostly a bunch of rich guys showing off for each other. It appears that many of the speculators are moving on to other opportunities, based on auction results that we have been seeing.
