Nice pick with From Beyond . With the one two punch of Re-Animator and that, Stuart Gordon should've been as beloved/respected as Sam Raimi & Peter Jackson. He always seems to get left out (behind). I blame Brian Yuzna. (If some dropped a Barbara Crampton gif-don't think anyone'd complain)

Hola darkman amigo, nice to see you hosting the weekly thread. And waitaminute - is Chris a 'she'??? Why am I always the last to find out these things? From Beyond (1986, Stuart Gordon) 5/10 The creative team behind RE-ANIMATOR returned one year later and proved that lightning doesn't always strike twice. The splattery SFX and gooey creature design are neat and so is Barbara ...

Beyond Re-Animator . Replace Jason Barry with Bruce Abbott, Elsa Pataky with Barbara Crampton, Simon Andreu with David Gale, and the prison with a university hospital, and what you've got is...basically, the original movie. -------------- "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Hotels on Boardwalk. People landing on all four railroads. I've passed Go and collected two ...

UPDATED Tue Sep 16 2008 12:50:27 first list; This list includes movies that are based directly on stories written by Lovecraft. Bride of Re-Animator (1990) Both Jeffrey Combs and Bruce Abbott return in this mediocre sequel to Re-Animator, which actually owes more to The Bride of Frankenstein. However, some scenes, including the final one in the tomb of the Averills, ...

Though I might have missed it (and I did look), no one seems to have mentioned St. Elmo's Fire and Looker. Also, there was the truly disturbing Re-Animator movie, in which Barbara Crampton is strapped fully nude to a gurney, and molested by a severed head. I still can't believe I sat through that. Kelly Maroney is the ultimate B-movie scream queen - loved her in Night of the Comet. ...

Dug this baby out for another viewing last night, and I'd just like to state for the record that fillums like Chopping Mall are the reason I become such a die-hard movie geek! It was the sort of VHS that begged for your attention, and thankfully, after being hired, it delivered! it, It's cheesy, it's got boobs, it's got killer robots... it's got fun all over it! For the uninitiated, ...

Skull: Christophe O'Blivion™: Haha I've never actually seen any of those, although I almost ordered Chopping Mall on a whim a few months back. I hear that there is a great head exploding scene, and Barbara Crampton has fantastic tits.. Re-Animator backs that up. Chopping Mall (1986) Uploaded by grf450 Oh wow, this one was a fun one when I first saw it ...
