Banco Santander is a huge capital bank, This spanish entity owns a 1/4 of the world practically. This is awesome, this not only implicates JPIG but opens the doors to lawsuits from potential buyers, especially if they were being talked out of buying wamu. This is bigger than I thought

For those who traveled recently, is there still a Banco Santander ATM at Plaza Caracol - which from what I am reading here should be within walking distance from Dreams Cancun, correct? And if you happened to use a Bank of America debit card, are ATM withdrawals at Banco Santander still free? Thanks.

1000 Mil Cruzeiros..two "native brazilians on back" Answer Hi Robin, if this is the mainly brown 1000 Cruzeiros note that shows two Amazon Indian children then it was issued 1990-91. What are the first 4 digits of the serial number? You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info. Brad

Wow... That IS EXACTLY my thoughts.. In the document that uzual posted, it mentions potential buyers and it also mentions WFC.. Now, if there was a bidding process then I wonder what the other bids were.. Banco Santander and WFC will be getting ready to spank JPIGs butt once they find out that evidence actually exists to implicate them directly!! This is just getting bigger and better!!

Exhibit 1 at 17 & n.14. For example, with respect to Debtors' investigation into JPMC's efforts to interfere with a potential sale of WaMu, an internal JPMC email from June 2008 reports on a meeting between JPMC CEO Jamie Dimon and Banco Santander Chairman Emilio Botin in which Botin indicated that Santander was interested in acquiring WaMu. I absolutely agree with you. Another interesting bit of information that I read in the filing for further discovery is that of the four "WaMu Suitors" that were listed as interested in WaMu two were Canadian banking entities. 1. Banco Santander, S.A 2. Toronto-Dominion Bank 3. TD Bank N.A. 4. Wells Fargo I have banked with TD Bank aka Toronto-Dominion Bank and I think they are a very careful and ...
