It seems like some percentage of those using wall-hacks and aim-bots are finally be dismissed from Modern Warfare 2, permanently. According to this support page at Steam Powered, the Valve Anti-cheat System bans users "from multiplayer games in Modern Warfare 2." Essentially they've just purchased a $100, 6 hour, single player campaign. Excellent. What we don't know yet is if these bans...

So I'm not sure this will work but if i install the original game to my hard drive and just boot with the back-up disc for the initial startup. This way all the data will be original and i don't have to worry about bad data or anything. Can anyone confirm this

This is probably the 100th thread on Speed hackers but damn it! Its become a huge problem. I was waiting around in Ice Crown for my group when a priest ran up MC'd me and sped me off a cliff. And of course we couldnt kill her because she'd just zip away heal and come back >.> Any chance of a big ol' ban hammer coming down and smiting these greifers?
