Yesterday I meet another Belgian owner at Bark Park in Dayton, Ohio. I always knew Balto was a smart guy, but the woman I was with pointed out something interesting to me that he was doing. Folks, Is it just me that thinks that with only one day before winter vacation, it does not make a lot of sense to open Baltimore County Public Schools tomorrow (Wednesday)? Under normal circumstances I would be all for school being open, but to bring the students in two hours late on the day before winter break makes no sense at all to me. Hawaii has had year-round schooling for 10 years or more. I'm sure there are other states that have done so already as well. The actual time in school isn't much different but the time off is not in large blocks, like all July and August. Probably only 2 weeks between graduation from one grade until start of next one.
