I saw the pic of the sprint motor on ebay and noticed the balancer. I pulled my engine a few months ago and don't remember it looking like that. My engine is a 67 ZD6 sprint with only the alt bolted on, no power anything, manual 3 spd. I have 2 NOS single groove balancers I was going to choose from to use But maybe I need the right one. What is the pt# I should see on my stock balancer. The ...

Okay, my harmonic balancer came apart at the rubber on my 87 760 turbo, throwing off all my belts.. My P/S pump has been acting up lately and I am thinking that it caused my harmonic balancer to expire prematurely.. Anyhow fcp has the pulley for 58.99 and a rebuilt p/s pump for 95.00. Has anyone had any experience w/ these, are they good or not worth putting on? Any other advice in the ...

I discovered that I can't pull my harmonic balancer with the harmonic balancer puller I have. It's too small. Is there a special one for this engine? Where do I buy it?

Any difference between a crank or balancer that is 28 oz balance and one that is "28.2" oz balance?....Is there a difference or both are the same but most people just round it to 28 for sake of not confusing people?
