Hi chowhounds, I'm looking for a bachelorette-party friendly restaurant for a Saturday dinner in downtown Minneapolis. Tasty food is an important consideration, but so are a fun atmosphere and good adult beverages (mixed drinks or wine preferred). Our party will be small, 4-5 people tops. Food budget is

My gf's getting married next year and she wants to take a cruise to Cozumel for her bachelorette party. It's a 4-night cruise and costs $998, which, IMO, is a lot to pay for a bachelorette party (at least one that doesn't involve Vegas). I budgeted for $250 to $500. Is $1,000 a normal bach party budget? Maybe I'm just out-of-touch.

Hey Yelpers - My 22-year old cousin is throwing a bachelorette party in Dallas - she lives out of town and asked me to suggest places for them to go. As a late 20s married Lakewood-ite, I rarely venture out to the types of "party places" she is hoping to find! Where should they go to dance, have fun, and hopefully get some drinks purchased for them? Everyone is over 21, so they can get in ...

Hello Knotties- I actually got married Sept 5, but I am trying to help a friend whose wedding I am standing up in. We are trying to find a trolley or some type of shuttle that would pick us up from a location near Portage Park and drop us off in Wrigleyville. Then we would like to be picked up from Wrigleyville and taken back to where we started like 5 hours later. So, basically I'm looking ...

a $1000 is really high for a bachelorette party. i've been to 3 destination bachelorette parties within the last year and one cost (total price) about $150 (2 nights in Ocean Isle in August), the second cost (total price) $300 (3 nights in Savannah during St. Patty's Day weekend), and the third cost (total price) $300-350 (2 nights in Charleston, SC in August). this included all my food and ...

I think Solera would be a good option. Might be a bit on the pricey side if the $30 includes drinks. I always think tapas is a fun group type meal- lots of sharing and camraderie... And sangria is a great adult beverage!

The Make-a-Wedding-Dress-Out-of-Toilet-Paper game is always interesting. Separate girls into teams with a roll of toilet paper, some tape, and 1 brave volunteer to get wrapped in the dress, and see who comes up with the most creative wedding dress in 5 minutes.
