It was the dawn of the Third Age of Mankind, ten years after the Earth Minbari war. The Babylon project was a dream given form... Let me tell you about my favorite scifi show, which has it all: Shadowy conspiracy, false flag, incrementalism, soft tyranny, assassinations, MKULTRA, alien craze and a carefully constructed anti-control pro-individual freedom message as the running motif of...

Just started to watch Babylon 5 from the beginning, heard they released ''The Lost Tales'' about 2 or so years ago. Then I read it was the first in a series of direct to DVD movies. Have anymore been announced?

Ahhhh, its strangely relaxing to able to say that for the first time. The Lost fans spout this nonsense all the time, so its about time I get too. Well HAHA, this is IT, this the show I've been waiting for. My best show EVER!!!!!!111 So I started watching Babylon 5, quite a while ago, slowly making my way through the first season. Which failed to make me say AWESOME in between ...

I think the title says it all: the Asgard form the Stargate universe evolve instead in a remote (but not too distant) part of the B5 Milky Way. By act of ROB hand-waving, they don't suffer from the crippling genetic degeneration that led to their downfall in SG-1. They still follow the same code of conduct, with the same advanced tech, only their Hyperdrive works B5...

Episode 1 / Points of Departure Just finished watching the first two episodes of Babylon 5 series two, so I thought I'd start a new thread to record my thoughts and opinions and ask others for theirs. Well for starters I thought Points of Departure was a fantastic episode to kick things off for season two, setting up the coming conflict with the Shadows and perhaps more importantly, ...

Lets say that on Earth, most other specials die out, but Matt and Maury Parkman live. And over the years, they have children more powerful then they are. Their decendants a couple centuries later now have Telepathy on Matt Parkman's level(most recent development) and precognition in a way that combines Lydias empathy and Isaac Mendez precog, without painting. No ...

Movie Hole wrote: Babylon 5 the movie? Might another small-screening offering be ported over to theatres? "Babylon 5" creator J. Michael Straczynski tells Gareth over at Skiewed and Reviewed that whilst we won't be seeing any more small-screen adventures from the spacely gang - Warner Bros may be considering doing a feature film version. ...

Got my Bold 9700 last night and I've learned something: don't watch reruns of Babylon 5 with your BB nearby. Every time someone uses their Link or opens a door, you'll look at your berry; when you eventually do get an email, you'll ignore it. Hello, CrackBerriers!

Just finished watching Babylon 5 from start to finish over the course of about 9 days. What a rush. Was even more of a kick ass experience this time around. Story made a lot more sense marathon watching rather than when it was aired having a week between each episode. I'm thinking it should be required viewing for anyone going into politics. -mark

^^ The last time that WBs 'suggested' something was when they insisted that the show had to have a hotshot fighter pilot. spoiler: JMS duly obliged, and then killed him...... After that, no more notes.

Lets remember too that several times after the ISA is established mankind falls into totalitarian government and becomes oppressive. Each time they are driven back, and quarantined. But each time they again manage to redevelop society and are accepted with open arms back into the ISA. This goes on for millions of years, until we see members of the ISA standing on a star ship watching ...
