My daughter was almost 4 months last Halloween and I didn't take her trick-or-treating. This year I was thinking about it, but not sure. She will be almost 16 months this year. Anyways, when did you take your baby trick-or-treating for the first time? Are you taking him/her this year?

Elizabeth will be four months old on Wednesday. She's growing really well, and while she continues to be on the small side, she's hitting all her milestones on time or early, and she is a very happy baby. She still kicks me in my c/s incision when I nurse her in bed, but it doesn't hurt like it used to.

Yay or Nay?! Was talking to someone earlier about them and they seemed against them, and was saying that a car isn't gonna slow down if they see one on the car in front of them. I personally do slow down,i treat the car like a car with a 'L' plate.

Aerola ( apologize for my spelling) is the circle past the nipple with little tiny bumps that is a proper latch and the baby/child will more likely get more milk that way . If the baby just suckles on the nipple the baby will still get milk but not as much !

There was a thread w hile back where someone mentioned a german made seat that has a padded restraint type thing that goes across the babys waist, so its protected in the case of a frontal impact- rather than the 'usual' harnesses. Anyone know what it was? Thanks... Simon

Hi all - I've been searching for standard lengths for armholes when designing baby and child size sweaters. Usually what I see is chest measurements but you can't design something and expect it to fit without the 'average' armhole measurement. A standard sleeve length, long and 3/4 would also be helpful. I hate to just guess on these. In the past, I've looked through patterns I own with...

We are taking her-she'll be 10 months- to family, my husbands work and we thought the mall but just to show her off in her adorable costume and take the younger stepson. The mall here does somethings so we though that it might be a little fun for both to go for a very short time.

Recaro FTW. we have the Signo , which is a convertible, and is sorta bulky, but fits just fine in our RX with the front seat back all the way. A GS might be tight though, I remember its backseat being tiny. In a few months, we're going to step him up to his final seat, which will be the Recaro Start . It's an aluminum frame, adjustable back seat (the Signo is adjustable too, but is mostly ...

I'm considering providing child care in my home.  I'm wondering about any challenges/benefits etc.  I have a DS that is in school 4K and this peanut is due 5/21.  I was thinking of starting this Jan.1st or when I find some little ones.  I know one benefit is to be at home with my DS and baby #2.  I was considering caring for two other babies prefer newborns and they can grow with us.  Any...

I submitted my paperwork to apply to become a FP on August 29th. I simply handed to the receptionist, because my worker had already left for the weekend. Despite calling and leaving messages, I've heard nothing since. I was afraid I had been forgotten, since others who applied after me were so much further along. Or maybe they didn't want me? The thoughts tthat go thru your head while you wait,...
